SDMA Education
Overview
The San Diego Museum of Art's education offerings are a robust set of programs that encompasses camps, in-gallery experiences, workshops, and more. This project presented the challenge of how to create a sub-brand under the umbrella of the main SDMA visual identity that focused on a younger demographic.
Outcome
Originally, there was a logo based on an object that was on display in the galleries. I encouraged the team to broaden the representation beyond a single object by using a flexible branding system that would allow for more diverse interaction. This modular take uses aspects of the SDMA brand and includes playful graphics intended for all ages and programs.
